City Market Bistro was developed by a local restaurant professional with a combined total of over 30 years of hands-on experience in upscale restaurants.
Chef Scott Krause lived and worked in New Smyrna Beach in the early to mid-1990’s, and graduated from NSB High School class of 1990. Scott worked for Norwood's/Skyline/Franco's/Riverview throughout High School and College. Chef Scott attended Johnson & Wales University in North Miami and studied Culinary arts then transferred to Florida International University also in North Miami for business and hospitality management. Scott has worked in Memphis, Las Vegas, Houston, Phoenix, Salt Lake, Chicago, Washington D.C., Hartford, New York, Miami and has returned to his home New Smyrna Beach to live out his dream.
Scott is blessed with a great family, Christa his wife, Gabrielle his oldest daughter, Estelle his youngest daughter, George his little boy and their 4 dogs, Teddy, Frankie, Ellie and baby Freddy.
